Belt Alignment Kits We stock belt alignment kits and tools from some of the biggest brands. Our SKF-branded tools are used to align V-belt pulleys into grooves, using strong magnets and V-guides to place the tool into place. The tool uses a receiver unit and a secondary unit that emits a laser, meaning that the alignment device is rapid and simple to attach. With a 3D target area placed on the receiver, the user can easily pick up on any misalignments and identify whether it is parallel, vertical or horizontal in nature - or even all three. Fast attachment is facilitated via the powerful magnets, and the accuracy provided is very high indeed.
Gear & Bearing Pullers (Including Accessories) Gear and bearing pullers can be used in a wide range of industrial, automotive and manufacturing applications, gear pullers are used to pull gears out of a shaft, and they are available in a choice of designs, depending on the end purpose.
Grease Guns Whether you are a professional engineer or mechanic, or just an amateur who likes to tinker around with machines at home, a grease gun will very quickly earn its place in your toolkit. Grease guns are incredibly versatile and are essential in a wide range of applications, for ensuring smooth functioning of components in engines, vehicles, equipment and machinery. We have got all of your grease gun requirements covered, and with a wide selection to choose from, you'll be sure to find exactly the right gun for your needs.
Hydraulic Pumps A hydraulic pump is an essential piece of equipment especially when pressure is needed to mount or dismount bearings or for use with a range of hydraulic nuts. If you work with vehicles, machinery or engines, you will find a hydraulic pump invaluable. Hydraulic pumps are not normally a one-size-fits-all kind of equipment, sochoose from our range which type of pump to buy for your specific application and pressure requirements.
Lock Nut Spanners Made by Swedish manufacturers SKF, a brand famous for quality and accurate workmanship, we are confident that you'll be able to find the exact type and size of spanner that you require. Lock nut spanners are designed for tightening lock nuts, when mounting spherical or tapered bearings on withdrawal or adaptor sleeves. Careful use of a lock nut spanner minimises the risk of over-tightening, which can produce a reduction in bearing radial clearance, leading to bearing damage.
Oil Levellers We stock automatic oil levellers that allow you to automatically adjust the right level of oil lubrication within the housing of a bearing, a crank case or gear box. These SKF-branded top-quality oil levellers enable you to accurately optimise the right level of oil for running conditions. This helps machines to run in the best possible way and helps applications to maximise their service life
Thermometers Temperature is a key factor in the installation of bearings, as it can influence how long they last and how efficiently they operate. A thermometer is therefore a key part of the installer and maintainer's toolkit. Infrared thermometers allow most surfaces to be measured easily without the thermometer coming into contact with the surface. Versions are also available with audible alarms to warn the user when the temperature is too high. Our models also have an auto shut-off feature to prolong battery life.
SensorMount The SKF SensorMount bearing range we offer is equipped with a system that allows readings to be taken of the fit directly from the bearing itself when it is mounted on a tapered seating. This means that you do not need to use feeler gauges, and the risk of human error is greatly reduced because no calculations are required. The whole mounting process is made much simpler, more reliable and quicker.
Oil Injectors We stock a comprehensive range of SKF oil injectors and oil injector sets. These have an enormous range of applications including car and motorcycle repairs, agricultural and manufacturing machinery, and the railway and aviation industries. They include oil injectors which can be mounted directly onto the work piece or adapted to make a floor standing model, making them easy to operate and to move.
Feeler Gauges Feeler gauges are used to measure internal clearance when, for example, fitting, installing, and adjusting tapered roller bearings. This tool features a series of blades, all of which have a different thickness. The feeler is inserted between the inner or outer ring of the bearings. The gauge is moved back and forth from this position until it can comfortably be inserted down into the middle of the roller.
