SKF Self Aligning Ball Bearings with Extended Inner Race: This bearing series has two rows of balls running on the same spherical outer raceway, this makes the bearing self centering, self aligning and un-affected by angular misalignment. They are especially well suited to applications where shaft deflections are a concern. Self aligning ball bearings have the lowest rolling friction of all rolling bearings they are also the coolest running bearing type particularily when operating at high speeds. They have an extended inner race to facilitate location to keyways etc.
